AS YOU KNOW, WEALTH GOSE FROM THE TOP DOWN. THAT IS HOW THE FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM WORKS IN THE U.S.A.
As you see it, Robert, does government have any regulatory role at all?
YES, TO A POINT. GOVERNMENT HAS THE DUTIES TO STOP RUNS ON BANKS; HELP THOSE IN FLOOD AS IN NEW ORLEANS; THE POOR; AND PROTECT US AS CITIZEN S IN WAR.
THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS TO TAKE AWAY A PERSONS HOME IN THE CASE OF O’HARE AIRPORT; THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS TO DEFEND THEMSELVES; OR RELIGIOUS FOLLOWINGS. THAT IS HAVE A BABY JESUS IN FRONT OF A HOME FOR EXAMPLE. THAT IS SOCIALISM. THAT IS MY OPINION AS A DEMOCRAT.
Mr. Jones, I would agree with you about the “trickle down” system in America being free enterprise but I do believe the government would be better off with regulation to “watch-dog” its enterprise system. If the checks and balance part of the government would do their job, then maybe we can restore the integrety of our canidates.
HUM, GLAD THAT PEOPLE AGREE WITH ME. I FEEL THAT YES, REGULATION ON TRUSTS IS THE GOOD IDEA. LIKE T.R’S TIMES, KEEP THE COMPANIES ON A EVEN PLAN. BUYING ELECTED OFFICALS FOR EXAMPLE. WE HAVE KEEP WALL STREET MOVING FORWARD OR THOSE WHO TAKE RISKS IN MAKING MONEY. THAT IS WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT. BOOMS OR BUSTS. WHY I LIKE SEN. MCCAIN.
